Born from more than a decade of statewide training and coalition work at the Association of Oregon Community Mental Health Programs, ORBIT was created to strengthen Oregon’s overburdened behavioral health workforce and suicide prevention efforts.<\/p>\n

We partner with the clinicians, peer specialists, crisis responders, and community leaders who hold Oregon’s community behavioral health system together. Through evidence-informed training, peer networks, and technical assistance, we strengthen skills, prevent burnout, and create a community of support for those on the front lines.<\/p>\n

Our training programs and suicide prevention initiatives reach across the state, tailored for both urban and rural communities. We developed and continue to lead Oregon’s first Mobile Crisis Training Academy, coordinate the Alliance to Prevent Suicide, and seed community-driven solutions through mini-grants and innovation initiatives. At every level, we reinforce overwhelmed systems with practical tools and evidence-informed strategies.<\/p>\n
