Innovación en Sistemas de Salud Conductual

Strengthening Oregon’s behavioral health systems by equipping communities with the tools, support, and shared learning they need to respond to local challenges.

Resources, Implementation Support, and Communities of Practice

We help local leaders improve behavioral health, suicide prevention, and crisis response. These efforts spark innovation, build capacity, and drive solutions shaped by those closest to the work.

Mini-Grants Supporting Suicide Prevention Coalitions

Flexible funding that strengthens belonging and connection.

Our suicide prevention mini-grants fuel grassroots efforts by providing low-barrier resources to community leaders and lived-experience advocates.

These grants make it possible for local projects to grow—projects that build protective factors, nurture inclusion, and save lives.

We have partnered with LGBTQ+ organizations, rural and frontier coalitions, Zero Suicide initiatives, and community-based groups. Their work includes peer support networks, affirming spaces, and culturally responsive campaigns that meet people where they are.

Our application process is intentionally simple, allowing small nonprofits, emerging leaders, and community organizers to access the support they need to bring meaningful, community-rooted ideas to life.

Communities of Practice for Shared Progress

Trusted spaces for learning, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Our communities of practice reflect the realities of Oregon’s behavioral health system. Built around CMHP priorities and grounded in lived experience across regions, these groups focus on what matters most in daily operations—not on top-down agendas.

Each community of practice serves as a bridge between policy, practice, and community knowledge. Members navigate complexity together, share practical strategies, and build collective capacity to improve behavioral health across the state.

We help communities translate concepts into durable workflows, make sense of policy changes, and access the tools, coaching, and decision support required to move from intention to action—as demonstrated through initiatives like the ORBIT Person-Centered Intake. Our team works alongside local leaders to ensure new approaches take root, adapt to context, and strengthen day-to-day operations.
